Default Pocket Card instructions needed!

I love the look of pocket cards, and am wondering if anyone can give me some basic instructions on measurements, etc. I have an idea in mind, and just need a little guidance to get me started... Some questions I have include,

Are there instructions on SCS somewhere that I am overlooking? Any advice would be wonderful.

Thanks!

I think there are several ways you can go. Instead of cutting your cs to the 4 1/4 X 5 1/2, cut it lengthwise. Then you can fold the bottom up or the top down to whatever depth you like. Another alternative is to cut your cs in the regular manner and then fold the right side of the cover over toward the left side (hinge side) of the card, making an angled front cover. And a third alternative is to cut and fold as you normally would then cut the fold edge down to the depth you want and then fold the entire top piece down to the bottom of the cut. Glue all edges to form the pocket.

Of course you could also cut a smaller piece of cs as you would for layering and then only glue three sides.

Thanks for the info. I'm going to have to play around with some scrap paper and see what I like the best. I'm hoping to do this for a swap, so time is limited!!

If you go to the techniques/templates forum and do a "pocket card" search, you will find several threads on the instructions for these cards. I have yet to try one, but want to. Have Fun ! !!!
