Srapbookers please help!

I just signed up to be a demo. I really want to combine scrapbooking and stamping, but I am clueless. I have scrapbooked (albeit not in the last three years! I think it was the fourth child that put me over... but that is another thread :) )but, I have never scrapbooked with stamps! The thought of not having to run out and buy stickers or those paper punch out thingies to finish a page is very exciting to me. Especially since we are moving to Korea and I won't have a Michaels 5 minutes away!

Anyway I have spent the last hour searching for a "progressive" scrapbook ( where you take a 6x6 and go to a 8.5x11 to a 12x12) which I read about on another thread. but I can't find a thread describing the technique. Anbody have one?

Also, does anyone know if there is a template for a one sheet wonder that creates 12x12 pages? I just spent less than two hours last night using the one sheet wonders templates for a 6x6 , creating a beautiful set of pages ( at least I think so!). I figure what better way to spend my time waiting for my demo kit than creating things I can display for my first shows?

TIA, Dawn

By the way what does TFS stand for?

I'm not much of a scrapbooker... but TFS stands for Thanks For Sharing :D

Progressive scrapbooking is described in SS January issue. Basically, you do a 6x6 layout, then you demo how you can put that 6x6 page onto an 8 1/2 x11 page and just add a few more embellishments, and then you can take that page and put it on a 12 x 12 page and you can add a couple more photos and/or journaling. If you go to scrapbooking pages in the gallery and do a search of progressive pages, you should be able to find samples. Try clicking here: http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...=&way=&cat=586

Memory Makers has an EXCELLENT special issue which is still available and only $8. It is called "Stamping and Scrapping." It covers every aspect of stamping in scrapbooks that I can imagine and has TONS of beautiful samples.

You can get it off their website, although I think it is $10 there. I picked it up for my sister yesterday at my local scrap store for $8.

Good Luck

I love that MM Scrapbooking and Stamping special issue...I grab it and read it over and over again. It's a great reference.

You can use your 40% off coup to get it at Michaels or AC Moore if they offer that where you are.

I just looked at our Stamp store for the mag. No luck and Michaels didn't have it either... Love the ideas so far. Any ideas for a one sheet wonder for a 12x12? I may just have to create a two sheet wonder myself!
