Spin-off... What won't you sell?
So for those of you who plan to sell off some retired stuff... what are you keeping? Are there any sets that you just won't be able to part with?

I'm not a demo....I wouldn't dream of getting rid of anything. I love them all and just know that if I sold a set I would really miss it eventually and probably go looking for it again and then pay for it twice!

Since I only have a few SU set's. I will be keeping mine!
Most of what I own are Floral Stamp sets. And those are my favorites.
I only wished that some of the Floral Stamp set's haven't retired!
Well I quess I'll have to check out the New catalog to see just what they will have for us to purchase.

I will never part with my Stella Stamper set. She retired a long time ago and I still use her from time to time.

I am only a hobby demo, but I have a hard time getting rid of a lot of them. I will never get rid of French Script, that has been one of my favs. Also, Sleigh Full of Toys (just love that one!), Santa Post (Just love this one too, and this one I think will go for big bucks after retirement), Cool Cat, Bugs & Booties (think this one will go for mega bucks), En Pointe (I think this one will go for mega bucks), and Classic Convertibles. That is my list!

I am demo, but I can't part with: Godspeed, Espress Yourself and I think it is simple shapes 9set of four, a rectangle, some big circles...). The only thing I would give up the coffee one IF a better one came out...so far, I like this one the best.

I'm keepin' 'em all! Some friends and I will be starting a lending library. We'll borrow each other's retired stamps so we won't be as tempted to buy new ones. Okay, who's snickering?

I will keep RIW for sure. I am not a demo so there is no real push for me to sell anything anyway. I don't think I would part with Terrific Tulips either.

I never part with Christmas sets as I make a LOT of Christmas cards and like having a variety of sets to choose from. Ditto for alphabets to use in my scrapbooks. All others are pretty much outta here July 1st.

I'm not a demo either and I see both sides of the coin,I have parted with many stamps the last two years only to make way for ones that are now my "style" love the realistic/vintage/nature. Have unloaded many "cutsie " ones that I almost never used, have gravitated tword many floral sets too. Love the car/truck sets too.And the pet sets,...oh my.

I keep everything! I couldn't bear to part ways with any of my stamps, not even the ones that hardly get used. I unmount my stamps, so I have room for them.

Retiring Stamps
Get rid of retiring sets? I don't even know what that means! Probably why the stamp sets have taken on a life of their own in my studio.....

I'll keep scouts at play FOREVER ! My husband had a friend buy it on Ebay ( I was bidding against her without knowing it) and put it under the tree at Christmas. He put so much thought into it - I feel like I would be diminishing that if I ever sold it. It is one of the most treasured items I own & not just my stamping stuff.

I was thinking this morning of some golden oldies I'll never get rid of. Stella has already been mentioned. I'll never part with For the Love of Chocolate or Stew Pot Pals. Anyone else?

Hi!
I'm a former demo now just a stamper/collector. I have never sold off any of my stamps - retired or from another company. A lot of my images are from friends who've given up on stamping. I was given their stamps to "hold" until they decided to get back into stamping. LOL!!!
I don't sell my retired stamps because I loved them when I purchased them, they were gifts or are "on loan" and when I need that image, it's always available. Even if it's been sitting on a shelf for a while, LOL!!!
My favorite SU sets that are long since retired but I still like to use are Wolves, For the Love of Chocolate, Love Bakes, Old Fashioned Stove, Country Hutch, What's Moo?, Country Window, Jar of Fun, Stipple Shells, etc.... The list is too long, and although I don't stamp as much as I used to I still enjoy being able to use the images when time allows.
That's what makes stamping so fun, there truly is something for everyone out there.
Enjoy!!

All of my stamps are like old friends, at some point and time I used them and got great joy out of using them and I'm sure at some point in the future we will meet up again and I will use them and find new joy.... Nope, not selling a one.
