Default need help with unmouted rubber stamps

I unmounted my stamps and would like to store them, but they are too tall for CD cases. Anyone have other ideas?

I put Aleene's Tack It Over and Over on my unmounted stamps. Let sit over night. I have regular office type page protectors in 3 ring binders (I put cardstock in the page protectors just to give them more stability). I then store the stamps on the page protectors. I could never find CD cases to fit my stamps - they only ones I've found are the slim jewel cases and they do not work so I went this route.

I am not sure what you mean by "too tall." Are the stamps physically too giant to fit into a CD case, or are they too thick to fit?

If they are too thick, make sure you have removed the black insert that allows the CD to clip in. If they are too giant to fit inside a CD case, I have read about folks using DVD cases. I've seen some in the electronics section by Memorex, but I am not sure if the insert that the DVD clips into comes out on those, or if they are molded right into the case. I have found some double-CD cases at London Drugs that work well because they snap entirely closed, with no gap like regular CD cases with the insert removed have.

Sorry I could not be more help, but there are lots of other UM fans on SCS who are super helpful.

I buy mine from TAC and the larger bg stamps come in larger plastic boxes. I cut the lid of the box, stick the stamp to the lid (TAC uses Creativer Cling), and stack my lids full of stamps together. Takes hardly any space.

Make sure you aren't using "slim" cd cases. You need the old fashioned cd storage cases that have the black insert you can pop out. Staples sells them under their own brand. I haven't had a problem fitting stamps that are a layer of rubber and a layer of cushion with creative cling in this type of cd case.

If you want I will find them staples.com and post the link to the page for you.

I bought some white boards that fit a notebook from Sunday International. these work well, although a few of my mid-size stamps kinda bend in the middle and don't stick too well. Gotta use lots of TIO&O on those. I gave up on the House Mouse stamps, they just won't lay flat.
