source for A2 sized envelopes?
I used to get my envelopes locally at the paper zone - but they have now closed. So, I am now looking for an on-line source for envelopes - hopefully one without high shipping charges... so, where do you all get your envelopes?

I buy mine at Hollo's Papercraft in Brunswick, Ohio. They sell just about any paper product you can imagine. There's lots of junk, but there's great stuff, too. You just have to know what you're looking for.
Their scrapbooking stuff isn't priced well, but I don't think you can beat their prices on envelopes and cardstock (they sell it by the pound; it comes to about 6 cents a sheet). They don't have a catalog, but I think if you called and said you wanted a bunch of envelopes they'd ship them to you. The easiest thing would be to buy them by the box - I think they come 250 to a box for $12.50.
I was there today, in fact, and bought 300 white and cream envelopes for five cents each. My sister and I meet there a couple times a year to stock up on envelopes and neutral cardstocks. I even found a stack of black Bazzill 12x12 that ended up costing about 7 cents a sheet!
They have hundreds of different sizes and colors of envelopes. I buy the ones that are closest to Stampin' Up!'s envelopes because I like them. I also got a few 5.5" square envelopes (10 cents each) and some 7.5x4" (2 cents each). Be sure to specify if you want a pointed flap or the more rounded one.
Warning: Most of the employees are a bit gruff and unpleasant. For me, the excellent prices are worth dealing with that.

I buy 3000 at a time from ClearBags - Promote, Protect and Preserve. it costs me $110.00 for the 3000 delivered. Thia is the cheapest I have found for the high volume of envelopes I use.
Blessings

The best selection of color coordinated envelopes is Paper and More found here . They are a bit pricier than plain white or cream but have every size and color that your heart could desire...flat rate shipping too! I've ordered from them several times and the service is wonderful.

I got a terrific deal on eBay for Fox River A-2 Starwhite Tiara envelopes.
Here's what I do (in general): I set up a saved search on eBay for the product that I'm looking for and eBay sends me an email whenever there is an item put up for auction or as a buy it now that matches my search criteria.
I have gotten some incredible deals using this feature of eBay. The only thing about this strategy is patience LOL so if you need the product right away, this may not be a good option. But if you can bade your time, it's a good opportunity and it has served me well time and time again over the years.
HTH.

I get mine at Clearbags, too. I buy a lot from them--regular and ivory a-2 envelopes, precut and scored cardstock, clear envelopes and card jackets for packaging cards for sale, bookmark vinyl sleeves, checkbook covers...good prices if you're buying in bulk. I've ordered from them for about seven years and have always been happy with their service.
