Sour Cream containers
I was wondering if anybody used the ATG to make these instead of sticky strip? I need to make 27 and don't have enough sticky strip for that many. TIA

I have some sitting on my desk that I used mono on about a week ago. The long side of one of them popped up a bit, but I just pressed it down again. I am making 90 of them filled with M&M's for my kids' Valentines, and I figure they will get eaten before they pop open!! Mono is a lot cheaper and faster than sticky strip, too!! I don't know much about the ATG, but I'm thinking it will work. (I used the Tombow brand of mono.)

They really tend to pull apart. I would suggest red line tape. I have heard hot glue gun works well, but haven't tried it personally. I doubt ATG would hold. Even red line tape pulls apart sometimes. HTH

I made one with my ATG and it's still together. I just used it along 3 edges, the two long edges and one small edge. I would think if you needed extra holding power then use a little liquid glue also.

Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive works great too. It is a liquid glue which some people don't care for.

Yes, I used my ATG and it worked fine! I have the '908' ATG Gold tape, and I also used the crimper on the ends. These are really fun to make!

I will have to try it with my ATG adhesive. I think it would work.

I made some of these with a patterned cardstock (from michael'd) that isn't as thick as the SU cardstock. I used a regular roll on adhesive from walmart and it really stuck! No problems. They actually were having a hard time opening them. I think it really depends on the paper.
