My husband and I usually buy one gift for the family instead of multiple gifts for one another. But I did decide to make scrapbooks, stationary paper and card sets for the grandparents and parents. Nothing super big this year.

Not a gift, just dozens of cards for him to hand out at work. He goes early and sneaks around like an elf, putting a card with a handwritten message on everyone's desk. Good will for him, good advertising for me!

Well last year I made him a mini calendar (it was 6 x 6) featuring his Harley - awesome photos of his bike and I used Harley paper and Harley embellishments - it was very manly and he asked "do I have to take it to work???"
So this year will be my last try... I just spent the weekend taking classes from Tim Holtz and he had an awesome 12x12 layout that he made with different textures of grungeboard... I am going to make my DH something similiar featuring his Harley again - we will see if this is his last home made gift....
Here's a link to Tim's sample http://www.timholtz.com/images/galle...le_pages18.jpg
You can't really tell in the photo but the grungeboard is wired together....

Nada.... he is so not into it. We tend to just trade small gifts to each other and focus on the kids.

Something like that would be PERFECT for my boyfriend's mom's boyfriend! (did you get that?!) I was going to sew him some Do rags, but can't find a very good pattern. If you don't mind me asking, where did you find Harley paper and embellishments??

Another NOTHING! He doesn't work in an office, so he doesn't need/want/appreciate stamped stuff. Plus, I don't know if we are even doing Christmas at all this year!

Hi.... Responding to a few questions...
Harley Calendar
The Harley paper and embellies are available at most LSS - I know I bought some at Archivers and other stores. You can also check online. I used a dollar calendar that I found at Micheals or some other store and cut it a part and once it was finished I put it all back together with my Bind-it-all
It was very easy... but remember for a small calendar you don't need too many pages (I had a lot of paper left over).

Another response.... The Tim Holtz classes - WOW were they the best classes I've ever taken (and I am a class Junky).... Tim is a fabulous teacher - patient, informative, shares, makes you laugh and whatever you are doing it okay - because he believes it's your journey...
Here's a link to the 6 classes that I took http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblo...er-road-t.html
I am working on creating some things with the tile technique we used so if you are interested check out my blog on a few days...
Happy creating for your Husbands everyone - men are the hardest to create for...

I make a mini-scrapbook filled with funny quotes from our son that I've managed to write down (hence remember) during the year. We sit down on Christmas night after our son has gone to bed and have a good laugh.

Probably nothing here. My husband doesn't need any gift cards and what not. I may consider making him a 6x6 scrapbook calendar though. I'm sure he'd appreciate some pictures of the kiddos at work.

Tough times make you stronger as a couple. I am glad that even though it's hard you are ok.
You are right the 2 year old wont realise, and there are so many other things that are better to have in life than gifts.

It makes me sad that so many husbands don't appreciate your stamping efforts or don't "understand" them. It also makes me realize how very blessed I am to have a hubby that does "get it". My husband is very into several hobbies though like woodworking, gardening, car models, car restoration (1983 Mustang to be exact), so he understand the drive...

My husband seems to like collectibles and the Tim Holtz Grunge board looks like something up my DH's alley! I will have to think a bit though and perhaps I will grunge up a calendar for him! He would take his to work and keep it on his desk.
My husband doesn't really have a hobby but he really seems to understand my need to have mine. He never complains about my trips to the local stores and I usually go weekly. He helped me fix up a craft area and now I am very comfortable in my craft room.
I keep telling him he needs a hobby, and I think Wood working would be fun for him. Perhaps one of these days!
Now to look for Tim Holtz grunge examples. I looked at Kathy's links to her Tim Holtz classes, and WOW I really think my DH would like that kind of stuff!!

Wow, I am so lucky. My DH does appreciate any effort I put into making a gift for him. This year he will get a calendar featuring our daughter.

I make my hubby a card every few weeks. He truly loves these handmade cards and hangs them all over his office, but I want to do something different. I think I will make him a shadowbox with our anniversary photos. I'm thinking of using the PB "Teddy Love" stamp.

Same here. Most of the stuff I make is for ladies, girls and preteen boys. I only send a handful of birthday cards to men and they are relatives other than my husband. And, if I don't get around to a birthday card one year, they don't care. Hubby would rather have a tool or underware before he'd want anything I'd make him. Boys are different and I'm cool with that.

Well, I'm not married but have a boyfriend. He will get an extra special card from me but I can't think of anything else to make that he'd really be interested in.
