Default So I decided to purchase the starter kit....

What stamp sets do you recommend I choose for the kit? I know I get 6 stamp sets of varying prices, but it's soooooo hard to decide. So I"m asking the experts!!

What do you recommend and why? Also, I'm hosting a book party, so the $199 will go to my sales for the party. Yippee!!! So I know I'm going to build up more money to get free stuff!! What do you recommend I get there? ribbons, brads, eyelets???

I'm open to any and all suggestions!!

Thanks all!!!

Make sure you check the retiring list - don't want to get anything that is going to be gone.

I always reccomend to get paper, ink and accesories that coordinate so you can complete projects. I would cruise the galleries, find some projects you like and buy what you need to replicate them.

Congrats and good luck!

I didn't realize that the cost of a starter kit could be added to your workshop total. If that's the case, I'll be ordering a little more just to get the hostess beni's.

Do you mean you are signing up to be a demo? If so, the $199 does NOT count towards any party sales. You do not get hostess benefits when you sign up. And unless I am mistaken, there is no "starter kit" to purchase, unless you are signing up to be a demo. You might want to check with your demo first.

I think you have 2 different kinds of kits confused. In the front of the catalog are kits you can purchase as a customer. They include one stamp set, a couple ink pads, some paper, envelopes, etc. These are not the same as the Starter Kit in the back of the catalog. The kit in the back of the catalog is a start-up kit for demonstrators. To purchase that kit you have to sign a contract to become a demo. You cannot just buy the kit at a workshop, or through a catalog party. I hope this helps a little.

It doesn't... The starter kit is purchased from SU... not from the demo. It is NOT part of a workshop order.
