Show me the hardware stamp set, please!
I keep hearing talk of this stamp set that has hardware images which you emboss so that it looks like the real thing. Now I'm an SU! demo, so I never look twice at other stamps, but this I want to see, and perhaps even buy.
Thanks!

Oh, I missed Finials and Frames! I really like that set. I'm going to go check the gallery and see if there's anything cool in there with it.

I love the hinges-emboss with a tone on tone on the SU metallic paper-ooh that would look cute!

Here a card that I made using the Hip Hardware Stamp. I did not emboss it. I just added Brads to it.

I used Hip Hardware on a card I shamelessly cased from emilymomto3boys...used SU's Easy Elegance with it. In hindsight, I should've used brads to really finish it off...oh well, next time!

TAC Hip Hardware
I've been looking at all of the examples using this hardware, but I can't figure out if I would need to cut the center part out of the rectangle, square, or oval shaped "hardware" after stamping the hardware image. I'm not very good at using my craft knife, so it probably wouldn't look very smooth around the edges, and all of the pictures in the gallery and in this thread look so nice and smooth. Do you just emboss around the edges and leave the center part so a message can be stamped in the center? Could someone please help me figure this out? Thank you.

I have one card in my gallery that I used the Hip Hardware on.
I used black embossing powder on it.
//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=350640&cat=500&ppuser=33618
And this one....And I now know I should have used Black Brad instead of the white one.
//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=286191&cat=500&ppuser=33618
I just stamped the hardware image on the card with Black ink.
Hope this helps...

She's not the only one that will ship to Canada!
There are other's of us (TAC demo's) that are willing to do so... I know that I have and will continue to do so.
Just wished that TAC would go there too!!!

Can I ask a silly question...those of you that emboss the image and then cut it out to look like a tag...how do you manage to do that without having the embossing start flaking?

I would love to know this also, as mine always flakes badly. I have the CTMH Antique tags, but I have only used them twice for this reason.
