Default Should I redo my lunch tin?

I tried my hand at making an altered lunch tin, and loved it! But I used cheap Dollar Store paper and I ended up with tiny little pieces that tore off the tin because the paper stuck to my gluey hands (you know what I mean??)

So here's my question, should I do another layer of paper over top to cover up the mishaps. Should I soak the tin in water and scrape the whole mess off and start over??

Or should I just chalk it up to experience and leave it as is. I'd like to fill this tin with cards and take it to work and offer the cards for sale.

My advice is if you are going to hope for sales you want your work to be your best. If you are unhappy with the finished product, I would redo. If you are fine with the product, leave as is. Good luck!

Could you add embelishments over the parts that tore off? Maybe some punched out flowers or a tag or something?

I agree with sarakay and would try to embellish it if possible. The other thing is to maybe to shabby it up a bit (sandpaper and maybe some brown ink smudges?). But I wouldn't take it to work if you're not happy. You can always keep it for yourself and make another one!
