Question Cling Cushion

Would like to hear your experiences with "Cling Cushion". I've checked it out over at Blockheads and am thinking of giving it a try. Your thoughts would help me make a final decision. Thanks for your help!!

If you are referring to the EZ mount grey cushion to use with unmounted rubber, I use this a lot. There are two thicknesses, and I use the thicker version. To my mind there are a lot of advantages to unmounted stamps, not least in terms of postage/storage and original cost of stamps. However how you choose to use/mount your stamps seems to depend a lot on personal preferences. Some people don't use cushioning at all, just using a tacky glue on the back.

You do however have to be prepared to put in the bit of work at the start that is required to stick your rubber to the cushion and then cut it out but for me personally the savings I make makes it worthwhile and then I can buy more stamps!!!!

Sometimes the cling doesn't work so well on your acrylic blocks but I usually find that a quick wash of the cling and/or block usually does the trick. In my case it just means that the cling has picked up too much glitter from my desk and that is why it isn't working so well! You also have the huge advantage with unmounted stamps that you get the quality of real rubber but are able to see where you are stamping and I think that is what really appeals to me.

I see that Blockheads offers both EZMount and something they call Cling Mount. I wonder if it is similar to this product

which I have used in the past. I found it softer then EZMount and a bit easier to cut but the results are the same.
