I had thought I remembered seeing a thread about shipping of liquid supplies (glues/inks/paints) during the winter months but my search has not worked. Is it unwise to have liquid glue, in particular Nuvo adhesive, shipped during the cold weather?
Thanks for sharing any experience you have had.
You're not imagining things, I recall seeing that a few days ago too. Likewise, can't recall the thread. But I do remember that a lady had some delivered and left outside in the cold so it was frozen when her Hubby cleared snow and found it. I also recall another poster said that normally sellers won't ship products that can be damaged by the cold in such weather. It might be worth emailing whoever you intend to buy from and ask them the question?
I think Art Glitter Glue (not sure of the name) won't be shipped in cold weather. I've never had any problem with glue freezing during shipping, but I don't remember when I ordered it last.
I have noticed on some company websites that some items are actually marked concerning shipping in the winter. But I haven't really thought about it myself for the liquid glues that I actually order. Maybe I should...

This is true. I just ordered from them and there are prominent notices in the adhesives section that they will not ship to lows under 40 degrees F because it cannot be shipped in freezing temps. I would be concerned about this with other glues also.
The Art Glitter Glue I buy off May-May Made It web site states they will not ship in the winter. Ditto: you need to ask the sellers about their policies.
Thanks for the replies. I was trying to place an order before a special ran out so ended up not ordering the glue. But will contact the seller re their policies.

Pretty much any white craft glue is or has a base of polyvinylacetate (PVA) and that is damaged beyond recall by freezing temperatures. I don't know if the same applies to clear glues.

I don't know if this will be helpful, but my problem wasn't with with glue in the cold (guess I've been lucky). But I did have some ink refill act wonky once. I wondered if it was the cold temps at the time but never knew for certain if that was the cause.

This just reminded me that I ordered an ink pad that didn't arrive before we left for Christmas. It has been sitting in our mail box for about a week. I wonder what the freezing weather will do to it. Darn. Should have waiting until we came home to order it, but didn't even think of it.

Do know the P.O. offers vacation hold, or do you have an Armadillo mailbox?
I didn't think about putting a vacation hold on it. It is in our mailbox right now. Don't know what an Armadillo mailbox is. We have a Cluster Box situation.
