Default Shimmery White Paper-What would you do?

What is the advantage/draw/whatever of this paper? Do any of you have any suggestions on what to do with it?
Thanks for any help you can provide!!

Default Watercolor paper

Shiny White is fabulous as watercolor paper. It has more body and a soft sheen on top that doesn't shread up under watercolor use. They used this paper at convention and previous to this I had only used it for embossing. Ultra smooth can fuzz up on you when you are using the real wet watercolor techniques.

It is also beautiful embossed because of its shimmery surface.

I love using it at Christmas time especially...just adds an extra something on the card.

Oh my...shimmery white is one of my favorite card stocks! I use it all the time in place of the Ultrasmooth white or vanilla when I want a more elegant, classy look. I use it a lot at Christmas time because it looks so wonderful paired with the brushed metallic card stocks and inks. It also works great with the snowman punch...he's got a nice shimmer already without having to use that messy glitter! Like Mikey used to say in those cereal commercials all those years ago...try it, you'll like it!!

Default White Pearl

If you use Craft White or Ivory and emboss on it you will be pleasantly surprised I think. Also the White Pearl Embossing powder would also look great. Any light or pastel color should look great.

Shirley

Thanks to all of you for such great ideas!! I just couldn't think of anything "special" to do with it. If there are more ideas out there, keep 'em coming!

I agree with the watercoloring preference. I LOVE Shimmery White with In Full Bloom, and colored with blender pens and ink. It is exquisite!!
It really is beautiful anyway you use it.

Last year I attented a big stamp camp that a few fellow SU demos here in Jersey put together - it was the first time I saw/felt/used shimmery white.

They had us make a card and included the matching envelope (I didn't know these were even available!) and used Roses in Winter - soft subtle colors (blush blossom, pretty in pink, bliss blue & mellow moss).

I love that card and have it in my set sampler (this is one I am not parting with!)

In my opinion, it gives a card instant depth and a perception of quality.

Just simple stamping with shapes and outline images over it in black look great. The shimmer shows through even if you completely cover the card stock with background shapes stamped all over it. It dresses up a plain card.

Wow! I'm going to have to pull out that shimmery white that I've never used yet! I didn't know the shimmer would show through the inks, markers, etc. Like someone said a couple post above... I should try... I'm sure I'll love it!

Default Shimmery White cardstock

I just used the Pure Color pencils on the shimmery white cardstock today. The pencils just glide across the cardstock. Looks great!

Just click on the gallery link and type shimmery white in the search and you'll find all kinds of examples.

I LOVE it!

Default shimmery white cardstock

I rubbed and rubbed the cardstock. The pure colors did not rub off.
