Shaving cream question!
What's old is new again, right?!? Wanting to try the old shaving cream background technique with reinkers- what are some good springtime color combos to use? i never seem to be good at picking colors... TIA for any and all help. Anyone have a good source for color combos in general when stamping?

The color challenges here on SCS are a fantastic resource for different combinations. I use them all the time in my stamping because it keeps my color choices fresh.

Another source is Sarah Ranae Clark. She's put together an amazing variety of combinations. It is a purchasable resource. She has two sets now, each with about 250 combinations. I think it originally geared toward adult coloring, but could be used in so many ways. I would check out her site. It's available in a couple of different ways.

Several years ago (7!) I made a batch of cards for my VSN challenge with my favorite spring color combo: bright green, yellow, and purple inspired by crocuses popping up in my yard. So, I would encourage you to think about the things you see in springtime out in nature.
I remember making background pieces with my granddaughters. I left the shaving cream out for a while, making an oxidized look. https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...K&si=APRVSN17K https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/g...&ppuser=114595 |
A color resource that I love (just to look at, even) is: https://colorpalettes.net

That is such a great site and interesting to me about how what might seem like a simple picture actually has a number of colors in it.
