What's your favorite "post it note" to use for masking?
Are regular post it notes good enough for masking? I know they only have the sticky part at that the top but are there other brands or masking type papers that I'm not aware of?

I watch the newspaper ads for Staples and buy the name-brand Post-Its when they're on sale. I love the ones with full adhesive! If I'm using a punch a shape from the post-it first though, I use the type with adhesive at the top only so the it doesn't get stuck in the punch.
The quality of Post-It paper is fine for masking. I generally use Post-It tape - 2" or 1". You can also buy it thinner or in full sheetzsz. I get mine on Amazon.
A very low-tack painters or masking tape can work too - like the yellow Frog Tape. I first stick it on my slacks or arm to make it even less sticky.
I have a glue stick by Elmer that is repositionable glue. I use this to make my own "post it" notes from scraps of paper. I can then cut the shape I need, swipe some glue on the back and have a custom sticky note to use for masking.
