Selling Stamps
What is the best way to sell your neglected stamps with the most exposure? I really do not want to have to list them on Ebay since the fees are ridiculous.
I've sold a bunch of my stamps at garage sales. A small classified ad should be relatively cheap, and you can say something like "Attention stampers!" to start it off -- which is what I did. That was a huge factor in the amount of stamps I sold during that particular garage sale.
New thread - What is the best scissors for cutting rubber?
If this is the wrong place to begin a new thread , please forgive me and tell me how to do it the right way.

You must have hit "reply". Instead go back to the forum and hit "new thread". To answer your question - Kai scissors are made for rubber. They are also sold by Stampin' Up! under their own name.
I always start right here on SCS in the buy/sell/trade forum. People who know the value of the item you are selling...you'll probably get more selling them here than at a garage sale. I've had 100% success selling new stuff and old stuff alike here on SCS

I agree! I just had a garage sale. I placed an ad in the paper and signs around town....I had people buying my single stamps for .50 - $2.00, but not one SU set sold! I had them priced well (at least I thought!) at $4.00 - $5.00. Go figure!

Thanks everyone! I went through my stamps last night to make a list of ones to sell. I just posted it here on SCS this morning. Here it is in case anyone is interested:
I try here first. I also do the arts and crafts forum on Craigslist. I am on a local mom's forum that I also try. And, my LSS does a crafting garage sale twice a year. If you had a large group of crafters in your area, you could all plan a group crafting garage sale.
