Smile Searching for stores in Hermosa Beach

In July I am going to visit my best friend who lives in Hermosa Beach, California. Are there any stamp stores in that town or the surrounding area?
THANKS!

I grew up in Hermosa Beach! I'm about 20-25 minutes away now. There aren't any stamping scrapbooking stores in the city, but the best stores I can recommend are in Torrance, which is not too far away. There are two - Scrampers and Strictly Scrapbooking. I go to both, depending on what I need. Scrampers is good for some of those hard to find things. There is also a great Joann Etc in Torrance.

Also, the weekend of July 9, 10 there is the Carson Rubber Stamping convention. This convention is VERY popular - heard it's the best one! I've been going for years. It's the only convention I've been to, but it is very impressive. Carson isn't really that far of a drive from HB - maybe 20-25 minutes away. You can check out more details at astampinthehand.com (A stamp in the Hand sponsors it - they will have more details on their website when it gets closer to the convention)

Any more questions? feel free to contact me.
Michelle

Default Thanks!

Thanks Michelle!!! I wish I was going to be there for the convention, but alas I am not arriving until July 27th. I will check out your recommendations though! Your help is greatly appreciated!

Default Hermosa Beach Stamp stores

I agree the JoAnns in Torrance is awesome. I go there every time I am visiting my son in Torrance.

I live in Lakewood which is probably 40 minutes from Hermosa Beach? There is a really nice little stamp store called C.R. Bloomin Stamps in Long Beach not far from the 405 freeway. Here's the website:

You might also want to check out this great outlet for ribbon both by the spool and by the yard - Fabric Barn - also in Long Beach

***side note - hey Michelle - I work in Lomita - very close to you.

Thanks for posting this thread. I will also be traveling to the Long Beach area on the 27th and would love to know a few hot stampin spots!
