Default Help Finding...

Hope this is the right board to post to! I've been asked to do a full wedding set with save the dates, invites, programs, etc...Bride wants a Gothic style Monogram -embossed white on black...so I'm looking for any alpha stamps with a gothic font. Not having much luck. Thinking about making a custom one, but again not finding a font that is similar to what she wants.
I've attached a photo of the monogram she likes - it's the style she wants but not the correct letter. She needs a letter "V" Also thinking about just flipping it around and calling it a V! Think she'll go for it?

Does anyone know of a gothic alphabet stamp set or a font that is similar to this?

Thanks so much!

Have you checked Ma Vinci's Reliquary: http://mavinci.net/ ? There are extensive alphabet sets, but I have no idea of there is anything close to what you need.

customcreations11......In MS Word there is a font...Old English Text that looks very similar to what you show. I would think it would be much easier to use a computer generated font rather than to stamp.

Thanks Patti. I also think it would be much easier to just print it, but she wants the cover to be black and have a monogram in white. So I was going to emboss with white onto black...Any other suggestions for getting white print on black - other than printing a whole page with black and leaving text white?

How about this font:

Or you can look further - there is a Gothic section on Dafont.com:

I will say that getting a good coverage in white on black is going to be tricky...I did pink on black and it was sparse in places but a glitter gel pen worked. How about cutting them from a Cricut cartridge (they do have that font) and making them into stickers for the front?

also, you can emboss the Cricut cut outs fairly easily.
