Composition Books -- Good Deal

Hi All!!

I am so excited that I found this great buy. I always want to share with you gals, but someone always beats me to the good deals!!!

Anyway, I was at Big Lots! today looking for felt dots and found Composition books instead. They have a package of 3 for .99 cents. I thought this was great. I have been wanting to make some of these for the longest, now I have to get off this computer and go do it!!!

Thanks for letting us know...that is a good deal...I got mine 2 for $1 when school supplies were on sale, but your find is even better. I'll have to stop there tomorrow.

Remember that they are also on sale at staples. It is a 2 pack for .68. About the same. Whichever is closest! I bought 28 today! LOL

What?!!!! They weren't on sale at my staples - oh :oops: :oops: :oops: - apparently, they were since that's the price on my receipt but there wasn't a sign saying they were on sale so I just bought a couple pks while I was there. Guess I'll be going back.

I'm not sure if you read an earlier post of mine, but while I was there buying 28 comp books I also mentioned that the rsvp pens were on sale with VIKING for .38 a pen making them 4.56 per box of 12. I asked them to match the price and they did! So I also got 5 boxes of rsvp pens. I even got to choose some of the pens in multicolors! I left a happy camper and 33.00 poorer! :lol:

Jody - yes, I saw your post. I'm been doing some more unpacking in my new stamping space and came across the RSVP pens that I knew were in there somewhere. I have all kinds of stuff that I've gotten on clearance with the idea that I'll use it for one project or another - the problem was my old stamping space didn't have much in the way of storage for those "little extras" so I stashed things all over the place. Now, I just have to dig it all out. So, don't be surprised if I don't upload pictures of Christmas projects until next summer - I figure that's about the time I'll find the stuff I need.
