Default Scrapbooking/Stamping stores near Destin?

Does anyone know of any craft stores worth visiting in the Destin area? TIA!

Never been to that area, but this might help as a starting point: MSN Yellow Pages search results

Word of warning: I haven't been to any of these since before last Christmas so I don't know if they are still open or not. With Scrapbook/Stamping stores closing right and left (I lost my closest one in May) I can make no assurances other than two of them (Croppin' Corner and Scribble and Scraps) still have their websites up.

Destin:
Scribbles and Scraps: 10859 Emerald Coast Pkwy. Suite 403 - 850-269-1022
http://www.scribblesandscraps.net/

ScrapBook Clearance Center: 16055 Emerald Coast Pkwy
Destin, FL 32541

Fort Walton Beach

Croppin' Corner: 175 NE Eglin Parkway Unit C Fort Walton Beach http://www.croppincornerfl.com/

All of these are within a 30 minute drive of each other. I've been to Croppin' Corner several times. Everytime I go they have more and more cool stuff. It's crowded but kind of like a treasure hunt. The folks are sooo nice and they have QK.

Scribble and Scraps was a pleasant surprise. It's the farthest one from me (I'm in Pensacola FL), small, but with a really nice selection! I've been there twice and have come out with ALOT!

ScrapBook Clearance Center: Once was enough for me. Even though everything is heavily discounted it's all older items that either I was interested in when it first came out OR I already have. If I lived closer I might go more often but since it's a drive AND I'm usually wanting to get home to play with my new toys I've found at the other two, I skip this one.

Now if you're coming closer to Pensacola you might want to drive over to Foley (home of the big outlet mall) and try GiGi's scrapbook store. She's a little out of the way but since you have to pass by Lambert's (home of the thrown rolls) resterant you might want to stop and have lunch. Great place to eat (country cooking but doesn't take CC) after shopping at GiGi's.

Thanks Latte da - I live just outside of Pensacola (in Pace) and I did not know of these stores. I'll lhave to make a trip over to both Foley and FWB soon to check them out.

Scribbles & Scraps in Destin is a great shop, I love to visit while I'm there. My sister was down three weeks ago & picked several items for me. Cute things I have never seen anywhere else.

The outlet place has a lot to offer & pretty good prices as well.

P.S. seems like many of us SCS gals are also "into" beading, if this is the case with you there is a little shop called Garden of Beadin that's pretty cool too.

Don't hit Silver Sands too hard!!! Have a great time!!!!!!

Ladies, there a store in Crestview Florida, which is about an about an hours drive north of Destin. It's called A Scrap In Time and the phone number is 850-689-0001- it's worth the drive. I also like the Croppin Corner in Ft Walton Beach...a little disorganized but they have tons of stuff. Scribbles and Scraps isn't a real big store but they have stuff I haven't seen in other stores so definitely go by there too.
Have fun in Destin!
