I worked up the courage to create a gallery after reading the post to encourage us "lurkers" to start posting.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who took the time and energy to post comments. You are all very kind and the encouragement couldn't have come at a better time.
A couple of circumstances have erroded my "stamping confidence" a little lately. Your kindness has really helped!

Your cards are really nice! I know how you feel though sometimes I feel like I made a nice card but I wont get but one or two compliments....I try not to let it get to me....I know there are some that get like 40 , 50, 60 comments and I am like WHOA! Keep stamping!
I don't what happened that hurt your confidence, but you've definitely got your groove back! Your gallery is truly artistic and original, but most of all expresses your wonderful TALENT!
Your cards are awesome. I have left a few comments, will check back later. Just wanted to tell you not to let others hamper your creativity. I too, was told my stuff stunk (when I worked at the scrapbook store) and it really hurt my feelings. I wasn't sure if I was going to even continue with the scrapping and card-making hobby, they had my self confidence so beaten down. Then, I decided that I couldn't let them get to me. People like my cards and my craft items I make for them, I had way too much money invested, and most importantly, I love the creative process so I kept moving past the hurt they caused. Shortly after I left there, I was accepted on a design team.

No worries, YOU ARE TALENTED. Don't listen to others (well listen to us), listen to your heart. Are you happy with your work? Does it give you pleasure? And if someone doesn't appreciate my talent, I send a storebought card to them (if any at all)
VBCaser - Drexell Hill is pretty close. Do youknow if there are any active stamping groups close by? I keep trying to get them started around here but not having much luck. Everyone seems to be too busy to fit it in.
I've just been roaming around in your gallery. Your cards are awesome! I especially like the circle notch card. Great idea. Could you share the dimensions?

Actually, I wrote up the "how to" for this card as an article for "Blue Heaven" on the A Shade of Blue stamping website.
Anyone who has subscribed to Blue Heaven should get it next month - but I can't really publish directions here since I'm "paid" with a free subscription to write articles for Blue Heaven (and I like the site and want to support it).
I only posted it here because I was thinking of entering a different version in a contest and wanted to see if people liked it (that lack of confidence thing again LOL)
Another "Wow" here...I love your unique style. It's very jazzy and colourful and I will go back and spend more time checking out your cards. Very nice work and some lovely TAC samples. Keep sharing, wonderful work!

I think the description in her gallery says the card is an A2 size (5-1/2 x 4-1/4). I like that one alot too!
Just here to add another "WOW!!" ... your gallery is AWESOME!!
Let me encourage you in another way also. (This is something I keep trying to learn, myself!!) Try not to pay attention to the 'number' of comments you get. This place is getting to be SO HUGE... and for a card to even get noticed with a few comments is really 'saying something'!! Also, the gallery acts up now and again... making commenting on cards too frustrating to bother with.
Keep up the GREAT work.... you are obviously a very artistic person!

I don't know of any. I am just a hobby SU demo but I did meet two new people over the summer who want to get together this fall. I keep my eye on some meetup groups - but they never seem to get off the ground. My SIL is a great stamper - but trying to pin her down to one night - even a month - is next to impossible. So usually it's just me in my stamp room!
