Before I buy it, why is it so great? Can someone expound on its' wonderful properties? I always am buying things that SCSers love, but am unsure about this glue.
In my experience, it holds like dickens ... wont come apart at all ... and a small bottle lasts a long time. You dont need to use much of it at all ... just a drop in each corner ... or a very small line around the edges ... it rocks!
It really is great. You just have to get used to usign it. Less is more. You only need a tiny bit. The bottle lasts forever! It holds everything on really well including ribbon.

I never thought I'd like a liquid glue, but that stuff is amazing! It bonds like crazy. I even used it to attach buttons to a card instead of glue dots and it holds like cement.

I ordered two bottles after reading about it here. I am in love with it. I just use a tiny drop in each corner and it sticks like cement but I do have a few seconds that I can straigten out my crooked layers....I am the queen of crooked cards. It is great stuff...you won't be disappointed!
Try a bottle and you'll be hooked! It does take a little getting used to, but I won't use anything else now. Use a Michaels or Joanns coupon and it's only about $2.50 for a bottle. Can't beat that price!
I bought my first bottle at JoAnn's with a 40% off coupon, and it came to a whopping $1.81! Since then, I have purchased 3 more, just to have in case I run out, which is looking like it won't happen any time soon!
I used to use double stick tape, but the layers would fall apart over time. not the case with the mono multi in the green/white bottle. it is a liquid white glue, so it does have a messy potential, but I use the small end to apply. another drawback some have mentioned is that it hardens when dry, resulting in a really stiff cardfront. I like the sticking power and find these 2 issues to be an OK tradeoff.
Recently I had a hard time finding Monomulti, so I bought Monoaqua instead. It's made by the same company except it's clear instead of opaque. I think the big difference is that you can make the monomulti repositionable but can't do so with monoaqua. Anyone else have experience with both? So far the monoaqua is working great!

Ditto, I love it! I used to be severely addicted to Snail and since I used the mono-multi I havent gone back to the Snail and I thought the Snail was the bomb but it isnt
I hated it when I first started using it, but now I'm hooked. The 2 adhesives I use most are my #1 ATG gun and #2 mono-multi. The one thing I still don't like about the mono-multi is that I always end up with all over my fingers somehow and that drives me nuts! Besides card assembly it is also great for making repositionable masks to keep with stamps that you will be masking often.
Is it a blue bottle by Tombow? I just bought Tombow Mono Aqua Liguid Glue.
what is the difference between this and the green bottle? I just saw it at Joann's yesterday and bought it because it reminded me to SU liquid glue and I am almost out.
Thanks!
Jen
Has anyone here ever tried Mono Metal? It comes in a gray bottle with a broad tip and a fine tip. The owner of my LSS *swears* by it and is going to hold a bottle for me when she gets more in. I've never tried any of the Mono glues, but I'm looking forward to it! (Gotta love a hobby where we all get so exicted about glue! )

The green bottle is Mono-mulit. It is repositionable for a bit before it becomes permanent. I believe the aqua is permanent right away. Both are good. I just have this little love affair going on with the mono-multi! LOL

I bought mono-multi for the first time after I saw that an SCSer here had done an experiment with mono-adhesive versus mono-multi. My demo encouraged us to bring our own adhesives and scissors if we wanted to be able to work quicker. I brought my mono-multi last time and it got passed around so much that there was barely any left! It will not take long for you to get used to it, and like everyone else here has said, your card WILL NOT fall apart for any reason. Besides, it's much, much cheaper than mono-adhesive. Enjoy!
I used to use Scotch double sided tape but it got very expensive until I bought Mono Multi. Just dot the corners and you are good to go!! One tiny bottle goes a looooooong way and so much cheaper than double sided tape.
Also this glue doesn't warp the paper either or make it crunchy.
I love both of the glues....... each has it's own place on my desk. I have found that if I use a toothpick to dot my glue I have better results. I have a piece of stroy-foam (the kind used for a flower arrangement) in an old ashtray (put to a good use) that I stick the toothpick in so it doesn't get stuck to something else. My scrapping friends laughed at me whenthey first saw me do this but they don't laugh anymore. LOL
