Scrap Boss
 

Anyone have one of these? I got to play with one yesterday and now I am going to be demoing it next week at class preview day at Michael's. Do you guys like yours? Any tips or hints for using it?

This is the big embossing thing, right? Where you put the template on pegs to hold it in place, with your paper sandwiched in between? If I had room to leave it out, I would love it. It's the easiest dry embossing I've ever done. The only problem is, you are limited to the templates that are put out for it. For the price, it's not a bad deal. With a coupon, it's an even better deal, lol!

I have the light boss. I really like it and can do all templates, not just the scrap boss ones. It was a walmart thing I think.

I have the small Scrap Boss and I never use it! Maybe I'll put it in the B/S/T forum.

I've used my ShapeBoss (smaller than the scrapboss but the same idea) and found it didn't emboss as deeply as I liked. Maybe it works better on SU CS than the generic stuff I used.

I have the ScrapBoss. I won it at a Scrapbooking Discovery Day I attended at Michaels about 1-1/2 years ago! I couldnt believe that I won it, since I dont win anything! I used it a lot when I first got it, because I wasnt into stamping yet. Now that I am totally into stamping, I dont use it much. Yes, you are limited to the templates that they sell for it .... I guess I like it, I just dont use it very much anymore.

I bought it, had it on a shelf for a year, and finally sold it in my garage sale this year. Never even used it once!
