Default Sayings in Carte Postale

Translate for me please. Does Merci means thank you? Is bonjour goodbye?
I have no ideas on Mon Amie or Carte Postale. I want to make sure I send the appropriate card for the occasion when using this set! Thanks in advance for your help.

Default mon amie = my (female) friend

All of those are correct, except for one clarification:

Mon Amie = my friend, but this is in the feminine form (this isn't something found in the English).

Example:
  • Jeff would be "mon ami".
  • Patricia would be "mon amie".

Aurevoir! (Goodbye!)
