Trip West - Need info on LSS Colorado Springs, Denver, Cheyenne, Cody, Billings
We're heading west the end of this month for a 2 week vacation. Yes... even with these gas prices! Anybody know of some 'must visit' LSS in the Colorado Springs, Denver, Cheyenne, Cody or Billings areas? Or any local rodeos

In Billings, there is a stamp store called Stampressions at 2160 Central Ave. and Scrapbook Legacies at 1313 Grand. I believe there is another scrapbook store on Grand, but I'm not sure what it's called.

Colorado Springs has an Archivers on North Academy Blvd and a WONDERFUL local store, Simple Pleasures. They are located just a few blocks off Academy Blvd but further south than Archivers. Simple Pleasures is so cute, you just have to go there, too!
I miss shopping there...too far to "drive" for me now...high gas prices or not! LOL
Thanks, gals, I have the info printed and we leave first thing in the morning. I am SO ready for this vacation that the $4.00+ gas isn't even going to dim my enthusiasm!

I see that there is now a Hobby Lobby in Billings on Central (and 24th I believe). You may have those in MI, but we don't in Oregon and I am chomping at the bit to stop there when we travel through this summer!
Oh, how I wish I could go with you. I'm from Douglas, WY and that's about an hour and a half from Cheyenne. Beautiful country and lots of open space. If you do go to Cody you need to see their museums. They are so full of history and really great to go through.
As far as the rodeos most don't start until the middle or the end of June. But you may get lucky and find one in Cody.
I hope you have a wonderful time and safe driving. Don't forget to keep an eye out for those Jackalopes ( the rabbits with the horns). He he!
Keepsakes and Memories in Longmont (on your way north on I-25 from Denver to WY) exit at CO-119 and go west approx 5 miles. In the shopping center on northwest corner of Bowen and 119 (aka Ken Pratt Blvd).
Also in Fort Collins, The Treasure Box on Harmony Rd...southwest corner of Harmony and Timberline. Harmony Rd intersects with I-25. Have fun!
