Default New Santas are done

Hi

Here is the new version. This is our final draft except should anyone discover a MAJOR flaw.... This version would not have been possible without all the solutions that were suggested. We hope you like it as much as we do... both the artist and I spent a lot of hours on this Santa in an attempt to capture the "twinkle" in his eye.

Catherine

Catherine, he definitely has more twinkle than before....will this be a wood mounted stamp? And do you know what the prices will be?

MUCH better! The only thing that keeps throwing me off is the hat brim on yours. Took me a bit to figure that out, lol. The Gumball Graphics one doesn't have the hat fur showing... Still, great image!

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback. We like the little hat border and as you know our design has to be slightly different since we've not been able to locate the original vintage image and work from it. Several people had expressed curiosity regarding our prices that I took the liberty to put them (UM first / Wood second) below the stamp number and the stamp sizes.

Do not hesitate to ask any question. We expect to have those in 2 weeks and they will be on the new website scheduled to open this month.

Thank again
Catherine

Tomorrow I will let the Artist know that

Wow - what a difference. Thanks SO MUCH for taking our input seriously. He looks like a much happier Santa. Love his beard now, too. Can you do us one more favor? Please stop on back and tell us when he's on your website and available to order.

Hi

By request we added a 2 x 3 version and I am trying to upload the new file... so far unsuccessfully... will keep trying. The previous attachment was removed before trying to upload.. the numbering sequence changed as the 2x3 is now #12-281, the next sixe up 12-282 and so forth...

Thank you for your patience while I keep pushing the buttons

Catherine

The link can be found inside post #57. I've just downloaded it (save target as or download link depending on your browser) and it opened without a glitch on my desktop.

Post 53 and 53 explained that for several hours the website would not let me upload the newer file.

Good luck! If you do have any difficulties you can
email me directly and I'll send it as an attachment but DO try first as I am working 'round the clock on entering data for the new website opening... and as a result I can no longer feel but ants from my elbows to my fingers from all the typing.

Hugs

Linda, if you'll look at the PDF of the Santa Stamps, there are prices below those. I believe they are unmounted price/mounted price. As for prices in their catalog, currently, if you look through the catalog, note the item number. Then, there is an order form with a listing of what each code means (i.e. A-XXXX is so much, B-XXXX is so much, etc.).

And for everyone else wondering, you can sign up on their website to be notified when the new site is up and when the new catalog is up! Woo hoo!!!

Well slap me down and call me silly....there are the prices! Thanks for pointing this out as I obviously can't figure simple things like this out for myself.

Default Santa Stamp

I REALLY like the improved Santa stamp, but I still don't like his lip. I went and looked at a bunch of the other Santa stamps to see what they looked like and a lot of them don't have an actual lip. More like a dark, shaded area surrounded by hair. I don't know if that makes sense or if the lip still bothers anyone else, but it still sticks out to me.

Thank you for taking the time to look up the revised version and the positive comments.

Regarding the lip.. we like our little lip and men wearing a beard do not have
hair on their bottom lip as far as I can tell. It also seems from the low resolution jpg of a card created with the Gumball stamp and emailed to us than he too had a bottom lip showing.

The stamps will be available 2 weeks from now but will only be displayed on the new site... there is so much data entry to do that I am not uploading anything on the current site.

Catherine

Ok, I checked the website (www.stampfrancisco.com) and they have the Santa stamps for sale.

On their home page, scroll to the bottom pictures of catalogs. Choose the first one, Stamp Francisco. The price list tells you the price for each size since there are no prices on the catalog PDFs. Scroll down and you'll see categories. Choose Christmas. You can look through all of the images, but the Santas are on page 28.

I can't wait to see what everyone makes with this stamp!

Dumb question: are the stamps the actual size shown on the website? I don't see any ruler or scale.... And the Santa stamp is waaaay cool.

I'm pretty sure that those are actual size, but up in post #57, is a PDF of the stamps with the sizes under them. The prices are there, too, but I'm not sure if those are current. And if you can't just click on the attachment in the post and open it, try right clicking, "save target as" and save it on your desktop or something. Then open it from there.
