Default Click & Ship-What's Up?

Not sure where to put this post but I have been doing online Priority Flate Rate envelope mailing for a long time and never have had a problem of dropping it in a PO box. Well today I was going by the PO so thought I would bring it inside and mail it there. The clerk informed me that even the flate rates can't go in the boxes anymore if they weigh over a certain amt. Has anyone encountered this? She says it's a new rule. She was surprised I haven't had the ones I have been mailing sent back to me. The reason why I do the flate rates is so I don't have to make a trip to the PO. Thanks, Carol

Click N Ship or Paypal shipping is exempt. It's only envs. over 13 ounces that have stamps. It's a whole security thing. Stamps are totally anonymous. With Click N Ship, you have to register, and they have your info on file.

Also, there are no problems if you schedule pick up. The mailman will still get them at your door.

You have to put an extra label on them if they are over 13 oz. and that little label costs 65 cents more, and you have to CALL the Post Office and let them know you have an over 13oz flat rate package to pick up. How's that for making it difficult, however, it is supposedly for security purposes dictated by Homeland Security.
