Rude service

WOW! I have been into paper crafting for at least 20 yrs and have own a Sizzix since they came out. I am into quilting now and have bought their fabric dies too. I have been trying to get replacement cutting pads for the quilt dies. Unfortunately the only site that had them was the Sizzix site. None of the coupons ever work on that site it seems so I asked if I could pay for the pads and pick them up at the Long Beach show the end of the month. After two emails I was told "that is not an option"! How rude!!!! I have been a loyal customer for years and years however by the time you pay tax and shipping it adds a lot to your order. For my order it would have been $16 additional dollars. I will look to other companies for both my paper and fabric cutting needs. This is how business go out of business! Thanks for letting me vent.

Wow - I've never had any problems getting cutting pads - from the Sizzix site, from Stampin' Up! from JoAnn, etc. I don't know about having them drop shipped to a show, but there are plenty of places to get them online without paying $16 shipping.

The various sizes of cutting pads are actually on sale right now at joann.com

I could see a small mom and pop operation possibly being able to accommodate a customer by bringing an order to a trade show but manually taking an order out of production in a large automated facility could certainly leave room for error. Imagine if hundreds, or even if it was just dozens, of customers requested that type of service for pick-up at a trade show. I don't think that it was unreasonable for Sizzix to turn down that request.

Based on my customer service experience with Sizzix when replacing a faulty Big Shot under warranty, I think they'll be around for a long time. Too many companies today don't stand behind their products. I'm very glad that Sizzix does.

I've never had problems finding cutting mats for my Sizzix machines, and I've always had excellent service from Sizzix. I don't think it's rude to tell you that bringing an order to a show isn't an option.

I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling that way. And you said it more succinctly than my long winded post :-)
