Default 2 Questions.........

I want to make a paint can for a friend who is PATIENTLY waiting for her fiance to pop the question......................

But have a couple questions.
1st- Where can you get the blank and empty paint cans. I've looked a couple places, and no luck. :(

2nd- Does anyone have a cute engagement poem, or have some cool ideas for things to put in the paint can? (I know they have something cute for when you get married but wondering about engagement!)

Thanks in advance!!!!!

Sorry, can't help with the poem, but I know for sure you can get gallon size paint cans for around $3 at The Home Depot, my sister bought a quart size at Lowes, so I am sure they also carry the gallons. Not sure of their prices though.

I bought my paint cans at both my local ACE hardware store and at Lowe's. I know they also have them at Home Depot. If you go to the paint department and ask they will lead you right to them. Lowe's had them on the top shelf and had to get them for me.

Sorry - I can't help you with the poem.

Maybe you can make it a survival kit for planning a wedding? It could be humerous with stuff like tylenol packet or maybe soothing with stuff like foot creme or a gift cert for a "planning dinner." I recently saw a listing for a teachers survival kit and they had cute items plus the "reasons" they were included. like: Bottle of glue "to hold your class together", starburst candy "to give you a burst of energy when you need it most." Maybe something cute along those lines?

Default paint cans..

I just purchased a gallon size and a quart size paint cans at Home Depot yesterday. The gallon size was $3.19, the quart size was $1.27. I also bought a metal pail (no lid) that would look cute with bubble bath and massage oil in it for $2.97. Have fun. amc
