Default Artist Canvas

Is it possible to stamp on artist canvas? I would like to create something using art canvas, but I am wondering if the texture may be too rough for stamping. Has anyone tried this? I was hoping to create something bigger than 12 x 12.

Yes, but I recommend using acrylic paint or pigment ink pads. The ink/paint needs to be thick enough to get into the "bumps" on the canvas. Also to state the obvious -- a small lined image is not going to work well, but a large solid will work much better. good luck.

Thanks a bunch. I am going to give it a try after I decide on a final design.

Check the following link. There is a really great project using artist canvas.
