Retiring stamp sets...what are you getting?
Since this years retirement list was HUGE there are still quite a few stamp sets I need to get. Here are some that come to my mind.
Best of cluck
bubble queen
all wrapped up accessories (already have the main set)
treat yourself
roses in winter
web wishes
cheesecloth BG
So, what are you all still planning on getting?
Ellie.

Luckily, I already have the ones I wanted from the list, so I can wait and spend more $$$ when the new catty comes out!

I've got tassel time. I'm just working with it right now. I'm curious what they will come out with for another Graduation set.

I just have always loved the quote on the tassel time set. "the tassel was worth the hassle". I just knew I would live to regret it if I didn't get it!

I just got Good Things Grow (because my demo made some awesome samples with this set) and Winged Things (because I have been humming and hawing about it since it came out.

I purchased Expressoly for You as soon as I saw it was retiring. I've let too many coffee sets go and then regretted it . . . and this one just has so much funk - had to have it!
I'm debating about Mixed Bouquet. I've seen the most gorgeous cards with that set. I'm kind of surprised that one is retiring as I see cards posted daily using that set - seems kind-of popular. No debate about Roses In Winter - I already have it! (But, if I didn't I'd be getting it!)

i'm getting...
I think I'm going to get Happy Winter...I love snowmen and I love the trees in this set. Its only 11.95 and I'm having a party in a few weeks so I think I'll get this one.
I should get the graduation one since I'm a HS teacher and always at least invited to a few graduation parties....and I like the saying...but I don't know.
I also thought about Best of Cluck...just love this one and the cheesecloth BG.
I also considered power up for a manly card...but is not one of my favs!

Watercolor minis
Simply Circles

So far I love them all and am So glad it was my turn to host. Now that I've blown my budget I'll probably have to wait until the next retired list before getting too much stuff from the new catty

I ordered best of cluck, roses in winter, and bugs & kisses today. As a new demo I haven't gotten these ones yet. I traded for AYC II. Those were the ones I didn't have that I wanted most. Had to save money for the new stuff!

My problem is...being new...there are sets that I want that are being retired...sets in the mini that I don't know if they will make it to the new catty...so many decisions...

Hi,
I understand what you're saying about being new and wanting so many sets from the current catty and the mini. I'm fairly new too and felt the same as you. Then my demo said something to me that helped me a lot! She said that a lot of times when they retire a set that something similar is in the new catty. She said that she usually likes the new set better - I imagine that's not always the case though.
It's helped me not feel so stressed that I must buy it all before they retire!

I got the Poinsettia wheel and the Holly wheel, and am planning on getting the cheesecloth bg and Roses in Winter. I'm on the fence about Sew Season and the Sew Seasonal Wheel.

I am not buying one set! The retirement list nearly wiped out what I can use a demo, so I refuse to buy any of them.

I ordered Pretty Princess, paw track wheel, whimsical lower and numbers, ( have the upper case already), and ruff day. My friend that I share with got petal prints, cheesecloth and a few others that I can't remember right now. I am debating the classic pickups, and elegant greetings. What do you think, should I get the elegant greetings?
