Default Signing as a demo..books only good till Aug?

I have a question about signing up as a demo in Feb. Are the books I get with my kit only good until August? How much are catalogs to buy?

Default books good till august?

Hi Mary,

Actually the catalogs are only good through June. They cost $28 for 8. This is a good time of year to join though, because of all the free stuff they give new demos. I joined the end of March last year, and I really have no regrets. Have fun!

Also you only get 8. I'm sure you'd be able to sell them all by then.

Also, while some of the stamps may retire - the ideas never go out of style.

I joined in May 2002 so once I bought my new box of catalogs I also offered the old ones to hostesses with the understanding that they couldn't order from them, but they had awesome ideas.

HTH!

Default signing as a demo-books still good until August?

This is really the best time to sign up although anytime is the right time......
You get such great stuff in your kit during SAB.
When I joined in Oct. of 1999, I only had the 8 cattys I was given in my kit and soon after had to buy another box. The box of cattys is one item SU cut the cost to help demos save more money.
Stampin' Up! is amazing!

Actually, the catalogs are good until July 15th. You get 8 in your kit and they go pretty fast between friends and having some on hand for demo'ing. The cost is really reasonable.

I think this year we will be able to order from the new catalog on July 1st. They are changing it from the past. They used to give it to us at Convention but now we will all have the opportunity to share it with our customers and friends before we even leave. How fun is that?

I'm not a demo - which will be obvious by my question - but, does SU pay for the catalogues hostesses earn when they have a workshop, or do those come out of the catalogues the demos buy?

Default Catalogs

Unfortunately, SU doesn't buy the catalog - we as demos do. But it is nice that you we can get them at a discount.

and the business booster is something you really want to get if you're going to be doing workshops! Lots of good stuff at a nice discount! You've got a year after signing to take advantage of it.
