Default Recipe help needed

I'm working on the favors for my SIL's bridal shower and I need some variations on the Recipe for a Happy Marriage. I found one, but it's really corny. I'm going to print them on business cards which I will stamp and then attach them to a heart shaped cookie cutter.

Some different versions of Recipe for a Happy Marriage:

1 cup consideration

1 cup courtesy

2 cupfuls flattery carefully concealed

1 gallon faith and trust in each other

2 cupfuls praise

1 small pinch of in-laws

1 reasonable budget, a generous dash of cooperation

3 teaspoon pure extract of "I'm sorry"

1 cup contentment

1 cup each confidence and encouragement

1 large or several small hobbies

1 cup blindness to the other's faults

Flavor with frequent portions of recreation and a dash of happy memories. Stir well and remove any specks of jealousy, temper or criticism. Sweeten well with generous portions of love and keep warm with a steady flame of devotion. Never serve with cold shoulder.

Recipe for a Happy Marriage (Author Unknown)

A Good Wedding Cake.
1lb butter of youth.
4lbs of love.
1lb of good looks,
1lb of sweet temper.
3lb of self forgetfulness.
1lb of pounded wit.
1lb of blindness of faults.
1lb of good humour.
1 tablespoon of sweet argument.
1 pint of rippling laughter.
1 wine glass of common sense.
1oz of modesty.
Put the love, good looks and sweet temper into a well furnished house. Beat the butter of youth to a cream, and mix well together with the blindness of faults. Stir the pounded wit and good humour into the sweet argument, then add the rippling laughter and common sense. Work the whole together until everything is well mixed, and bake gently for ever.

Recipe for a Happy Marriage
Take two happy people - one male, one female - and separate them from their parents.

Add the following ingredients in generous proportions:

Love
Respect
Commitment
Acceptance
Communication
Patience
Kindness
Gentleness
Self-control
Hope
Truth

Mix together, then thoroughly sift in daily life.

Strain out jealousy, arrogance, selfishness, provocation and accounting of wrongs.

Bake in the trials and tribulations of life for 50 years.

Celebrate when golden.

I really like the one that I found at allposters.com (the last one) because the verse is short and it would make a cute little poem that would fit on small cards. I know what you mean about some of them being corny!
