Default Stamping on tiles

Okay, I have done a search & found out how to do this, however, I haven't found a definative answer on using classic ink. I want to use the fruit set from the new mini, but I only have black Staz-on & don't want the fruit to be all black. I also don't want to buy the Staz-on in colors right now. Can I use classic ink if I seal the coasters? Do I need to bake them before or after sealing & at what temp? What type of sealant should I use? I know that by sealing them they will no longer absorb the condensation, but that's okay for now. Also, for the smaller tiles to be used as magnets, can you use the classic ink if you seal them? Can you color them with the makers? Thanks,

If you use classic ink, does the color fade?

No, you cannot use classic ink on tiles. Two things happen, it bleads and it fades quickly. You can use craft ink, but not classic ink. It just won't work. Sorry.

Okay, I think I am now at the point of obsessing over these dumb tiles... Well, I was just looking through the spring mini when I realized my idea for using the Fresh Fruits set to make coasters wasn't all that original! It is one of the samples in the mini!!!! I went online to SU's website & found they used acrylic paint. Now, do you think they sealed with a sealent or just baked or neither, or both? I guess I could call DS, but thought I'd check here first. What do you think?
