simleyj Your are suppose to send your address to Tavias Charms. Then the next person to join will send you their address. It is a bit confusing because on the same thread people are thanking each other for the cards they have gotten which is really nice. Hope this helps.

Ok, I'd like to play too but am completely confused my this thread although I tried not to be. I am assuming someone will PM me with an address or for my address? Or to just straighten me out? Guess it's all the extra postings that has some of us confused!

You send your addy to muzbys mom or tavis (I can't tell if muzby is playing again or just commenting) and whoever posts under you (now under me) will send you their address. As of right now, you don't have to send a card to anyone until someone posts next.

I'm not taking a turn at this moment, but I wanted to post a message for biblesistersmom (Jen).

It seems as though several of the posters are becoming confused with trying to figure out whose turn it is. I'm just suggesting that maybe you could ask everyone to put their 'Receive a card, send a card' posts in red (or a different color) so that maybe we won't get confused amongst our chatter and thanks you posts. I did this in post # 181 (in case you wanted to check it out).

I know this isn't my thread and please understand that I'm not trying to make up rules- I'm just trying to offer a suggestion. Maybe you or someone else might have a better idea.

I've been using PM's to notify senders that I've received their cards - that keeps it out of the thread, but the person knows I've received!

If I'm playing I will say "I'll PM So and so... and who wants my card...". To the person who suggested changing the color of your post when you thank you or whatever....I did ask how do you do that and never got a reply. I clearly say I'm thanking someone when I'm thanking and I say I'm playing when I'm playing. I always go into quick reply and I don't see a way of changing anything! Should I be going into "Go Advanced"?

When I'm getting confused is not whether or not someone is playing - it's whether or not I've done what I'm supposed to do! I need to keep a better record of who I've sent to and who I should receive from! What I've been doing is when I get a PM from someone for a card I just address and envelope and send it - I need to list to be sure I get a thank you so I know that person got their card and it wasn't lost in the mail. I do know I sent out two cards yesterday so I should have two coming and possibly a third but I'm not keeping a good record so I'm not sure.

I do think this is fun and want to continue with it but again, If I want to send a card I'll clearly state that and PM the poster before me who indicates they want to play!

For those of you who need to know how to change the color of your post, you need to click advanced instead of quick reply or quote someone else like I just did. At the top of the message box, there is a row that shows fonts, sizes and then a black letter A. Click on the arrow next to it to change the color of the words you are typing. I hope this helps and I hope I did it right!

Here goes nothing. Looks black to me although "COLOR="Red"" "Color" has come up.

I changed the color and then typed the first time...I also did try highlighting text. This shouldn't be so hard! I'm thinking that I just won't post any thank you's - just when I want to send and receive - pm acknowledgements/thank you's.

I'm not quitting....just not posting until I'm ready to send a card. Just trying to figure out who posted last for a card! Think it's gv913. I'll PM her and send to whomever posts next to play. Who'd like my card!!!!!!!!!!!! If there's a card on my gallery that you like, let me know and I can try to recreate it for you!
