Receipe for home made Blender Pen Refill

I know I have seen this receipe somewhere on the web, but now of course I can't find it when I really need it. Do any of you clear stampers have the formula a blender pen refill? Can you pass it along? Does it really work too I guess I would like to know?

Many thanks,

Blender Pen Refill: 1 oz. Glycerin, 2 oz. Distilled water and 3/4 tsp Rubbing alcohol. Take out the tips and let them soak overnight..then replace.

Another good questions about blender pens....What is the best way to clean them? or do we have to just use it on the same color? (Dumb question, but I jst started using these for the first time this weekend)

Thanks for the receipe! Are you using the SU pens, I didn't know the tips came out. How well does it work?

Yes I use SU ones...you can gently pull the tips out...soak them and put them back in. Seems to work fine. I do just buy new ones when the tips start to break down. I use mine in class situations and sometimes people are a little rough on the tips. But my personal ones seem to last a long time this way. As far as cleaning...once you have used a color, gently brush it back and forth on a piece of scrap paper...once you see the color fading it is ready to use again in another color. Be gentle though..this is the part that some are a little rough on!

Karen, you are soooo right about classes being rough on blenders. It took me a while to not cringe when the guests start scratchin' on them. Thank goodness the good of being a demo far outweights the bad!
