Default RE: Acrylic mounting - stamps...

This is going to sound like such a dumb question. I'm confused about the acrylic mounting/stamps. How do you mount them or are they suppose to be temporarily mounted? I see so many acrylic stamps that I like but I don't know much about them. Any thoughts on these versus wooden mounted? I know with the acrylic's you get a better view of where you stamp them. Are they hard to mount?

Acrylic stamps are *clear* stamps which you *temporarily* mount on an acrylic block. You just take it off of your sheet (they usually come on a sheet) and slap it onto your block and it sticks! It doesn't feel sticky when you touch it, but the material does stick to an acrylic block!

If your clear stamps aren't sticking as well, clean them in warm, soapy water and you get the cling back!

Oh, and while you're shopping for clear stamps, be aware that there are different qualities of stamps. In general, you get what you pay for.

You should check out this thread...it talks about quality clear stamp brands and how to tell the difference and which inks are recommended:I hope this helps!
