Default QuicKutz Help

I saw somewhere on this site that you could use these dies with the Sidekick. So, I purchased 2 that I liked & they came the other day. When I tried to use them with my Sidekick nothing happened, they are too thin. Does anyone know how to use them with the Sidekick or Big Boss? TIA, Rita

I think you have to use some kind of adapter. However, a Quickutz rep at the local scrapbook store said if you do this, you will invalidate any product warranty on the QK dies and probably on whatever other item you are trying to use it with besides the actual QK handtool (ie: Sidekick)

Hi Rita,
I just bought a Sizzix adapter (10 pack) that allows you to use "other" brands thin dies in your sidekick. I have seen these being sold along with quickutz displays in some of our local stores.
Before that, I made my own shims out of plastic paper dividers.
Hope that helps.
Mary

Thanks Mary, I'll have to look for them. No one in my area sells QuicKutz.
