Hi everyone-A friend of mine is looking for the name of the technique on the Icy Forest card in my gallery. I am so not a techy-to be able to drop the picture here. It has an adhesive sheet under the circle, then glittered over the top. Been all over Splitcoaststampers, and You tube, and can not remember where I cased it from. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you!
PS I am not sure it looks like you cut a window in it and covered that with glitter yes? ( I hardly do things like that so, its not one that I know the name of it sorry)
Yes it's the Icy forest card. Thanks any way, just hoping someone recognizes the technique. Image stamped, snowflakes heat embossed, then 2 inch circle cut, sticky side up clear sheet adhered on back of card front, then punched image put back in place, glitter added, and burnished in.
I don't know about you, but I like simpler techniques. Maybe this way...?
Stamp two of the tree/snowflake images and emboss as shown.
Smoosh versamark pad over the area to be glittered on one of them, and heat emboss with clear glitter embossing powder.
Cut circle die in the other one and layer.
antio8, sorry I just read this post today. I have seen this technic called 'the clear masking tape technic". Used on die cut butterflies to fill spaces with colored glitter.
