Default A questions for SU demonstrators

Have any of the SU demos preordered the ribbon holders yet? If so, tell us how you like them, how sturdy they are, If the stack nicely, etc...
Thank you!

Not meaning to hijack this thread, but Gina I love the smileys you use. They always bring a smile to my face.

OK, ribbon holders. I just put mine together on Sunday. My advice is crease all of the edges sharply before you begin assembly, then they will be more square when they are put together. By my 3rd one I learned that little trick. They weren't hard to put together. I did read the directions (I'm that kind of person!). They were almost intuitive, though. You can choose to put these little links in between them if you are going to stack them. I did it, stacking 3 on top of each other. You put the links on your 2nd one and then hook it to the top and bottom one. It was surprisingly sturdy once I did that and put my ribbon in. There are also some spacers to go in the sides if you don't have enough ribbons to fill them solidly full. That was nice. Just made me realize that I need to purchase more ribbon, though!

HTH!

Are they made of the same thing as the storage boxes? I like that stuff.

I've got 'em, love 'em and...um...need some more! Can't wait until this weekend when I can order some more! I have a lot of ribbon. What I love about these is they took something that used to occupy a 3' x 3' space and packed it into a 1 1/2' x 1 1/2' space...and I don't have to remove half of the ribbon from the dowels I had it hanging from to get the reel of ribbon off the middle anymore...COOL!

My sister and I like them so much that we thought we would put our reinkers in the medium size holders. They will look nice together stacked with the ribbon. Definately make sure you fold everything first before you start folding them, makes it much easier.

Question about the ribbon holder...esp. the one that holds the grosgrain...when you roll one roll of ribbon out, don't they all roll with it?? Do you know what I mean? Do they all turn when you pull on one roll??

No they don't! It's coooool!

The best way to put the ribbon rolls in is so that the ribbon feeds off the bottom of the reel. Then they turn easily and all by themselves too. I used to have that problem when I was hanging the ribbon up on dowels, so I know just what you mean!
