I have a question how do you get chalk out of Sponge jobbers? I have tried washing out with water. I brushing paper. I just can't get the extar.chalk out of Sponge jobbers. anyone else have troubble clean their Sponge jobbers? When useing chalk? How do you clean your Sponge jobbers when useing chalk? thanks hotwheels
I tend to not mix my ink daubers/sponges with chalk. If using chalk, I will use chalklets puffs that are miniture cotton puff balls. I do not attempt to clean the puff balls.
I also tend not to use sponge daubers with my chalks but you can put them in a lingerie bag and toss them in the washer. The sponges will likely remain tinted but the color shouldn't come off.
I typically use Q-tips with my chalks and toss when I'm done for the day.
If you are using sponge to pick up chalk then u can try using mild soap. It's like washing eyeshadow sponge applicator. Some colours will remain on the sponge but u can still use the sponge.
I use the eyeshadow applicators (pkg of 20 for $1 at the Dollar store) and then just toss them when they start to fall apart. This way I have one applicator for each colour.

This is what I do too. Works like a charm. I still have some regular sized daubers for larger inking. And the eyeshadow applicators work great for inking the edges of smaller rounded corners/cuts.
