Question for TAC hobby demos
I am considering signing up to be a TAC Angel. Wow, now that I've typed it I have to admit it's real ;) I have searched the forums and seen all of the incredible information that you have given to help others to decide. Thanks so much for that!
Here's my question. I STRICTLY want to be a hobby demo. I don't want to do workshops, but would consider catalog "parties". How much expense is involved in maintaining your angelhood? Are there a lot of business supplies to purchase? I know that new catalogs come out in June - how much are they? What about other p'work, e.g. supplements, order forms, etc.? Also, is everything online? In other words, when you place an order, do you do it online with a credit card or do you need to mail something in? Thanks so much, in advance, for your help. A friend is having a workshop in 2 weeks and I want to have made a decision by then. I'm sure I'll have a million more questions, and it is so awesome to have a community of folks to count on! |

There is no expence in doing a catty party unless you choose to send supplies for a make and take IE funshop in a box. When you sign up you get a stampers 10 ( 11) of catty's.You'll have all the paperwork and order forms you need for quite awhile if your just hobbying. You fax or mail your orders in right now. With in the next couple of months angel net an angel e-commerace will be live , meaning everything will be on-line. The quota to stay active is $100.00 a 4 month period which figures out to be about $25.00 a month. If you'd like more in please pm me and I'll send you a scan of the recruit pack and you can read it yourself. |
First of all the starter kit comes with all the business supplies: order forms, 11 catalogues, recruit packets, invitations, etc. as well as your choice of stamps, new exclusive paper, markers, acrylic blocks, etc. If you are planning on doing it as a hobbiest, I think there will be plenty of supplies. The starter kit is only $150, a more than $300 value.
Right now we can send orders in the mail, email, or fax. Hopefullt August 1st, we will be able to use Angelnet, and be able to take different credit cards and so on. The hardest decision right now is when to sign up July or August with the great incentives!! Sandy Andrews TAC demo #2245 |
Sandy,
I saw the July incentive on the website. What's up for August? TIA! |
Lisa, everything the other two have said and more!
I just became a hobby Demo last week. I got to pick the sets I wanted, the papers, and the markers! I do not feel I could go wrong with the TAC program! $100 every 4 months, how hard is that to do! Go for it, you won't be sorry! HTH |
August new Angel incentive is both the Level C hostess stamp sets FREE ;-)

I REALLY wish TAC was in Canada. I'd sign up for sure as things stand right now. (and I don't even own a TAC stamp...YET!!!)
|
Anyone know what the July incentive is, if you sign up to be a demo? TIA, Linda Seaman
|
Linda,
According to the website, you get the alpha-hip level D hostess set free. HTH! |
Hi Linda, The July sign-up incentive is the Level D Hostess Alpha Hip Set...you can view it here...

Personally if youre really thinking about becoming a demo I would wait the nine days and get both Level C sets ;)

These are really BIG letters though... Because you are right, most of the alpha sets are $19.95 or less!! I just bought a terrific set (with doubles) for $15.95. Of course those big alpha sets are great 1/2 price items to buy when you are a hostess!
|
Thanks for the explanation Chris :)
I guess the picture doesn't show true size? I cannot wait to get my catalog- I'm pretty sure you'll be getting a new recruit, rather than an order- but I figure it makes sense to at least look at the catalog before signing up. |
Holy Smokes!!! Girls that Alpha Hip is so TOTALLY FUN!!! I made a ton of cards using them!!! I will have to upload them so you all can see!!! I would sign up now and get that as it is sooo much harder to earn the level D and it is worth more than the two free...... LOL
And no I am not an Angel....just loving supporting my friend who is one! LOL |
OK here is the link to one of the cards I did....I think I may have deleted all the other pics off of my PC and now they are all at my moms house....( I made the cards for her... LOL)
My Monogram Aplha Hip |
Thanks so much for uploading samples with the alpha! Super cute :)
I don't know what the 2 level C hostess sets look like, but I'll probably sign up under that bonus, because as cute as the monograms are- I don't know how much I'd use them I cannot wait to sign up to be an angel! TAC just has so much awesome stuff with really affordable minimums. (Too bad I just moved and don't know anyone... that will make workshops more difficult) Hope my husband knows this isn't going to mean the SU habit is any lower :) |
Keri thanks for sharing your alpha hip card, I remember seeing it at ASB... it's so hip ;)

:D I just wish I owned this set.....maybe it will make the catalog next year??? Cause once I move I will no longer have access to Annes :( |
Oh Keri! thanks for showing me the size! this is coming in my kit and i had no idea it was this big!
I'll have to figure out something to make with it? Oh do I smell a case of the CASE-ing coming on??? |
LOL Karen you are so funny! I really like the size and the font is just too fun!
|
I might see it tomorrow or Tuesday!
Hello - Mr. Brown, calling Mr. Brown???? |
Hmmm... alpha set or both level C.... tough decision!
|
I am just wonder how TAC stores their stamps - I know they are unmounted but do they come with a way to store the stamps?
thanks, Marian |
Marian,
They come in little plastic cases, like SU stamps. Many people, myself included, take them out of the cases and store them other ways. If you do a search for storing unmounted stamps you'll find plenty of ideas. HTH! |
I stoe my TAC stamps in CD cases....it just takes up so little space.
And as for the Alpha-hip set...I mailed it to my upline because the letters creeped me out....if I had known about the hostess sets for next months incentive, I might have tried to patiently wait....hehe. ;) |
Does anyone know...
If I sign in August, when do I need to submit my first $100 by? TIA! |
Lisa.
You have 4 months from when you kit arrives. The don't have set *quarter*. they are based on each person *start* date. HTH |
Thanks, Karen! I hope you get your kit today!

Well that is good to know....just in case it is still on my "must have list" :)
|
There are may ways to store your stamps. You can leave them in the boxes they cme in, you can store them in CD cases, There are thingds called stamp storage boards for storing them in 3 ring binders. i even know a lady that stores them in ziplock bages an had them all in boxes. The choice is yours

but that's just because I think it a better deal. You get to choose which stamp set you want. I know that my sister is looking into becoming a TAC demo too. So I just told her about the New Deal for New Demo's. in the coming month with TAC. |
My sister is looking to choose her stamp set...She wish ever one that she didn't like she would give me.
I really like both set's but am gearing towards the one that has the bugs and saying on it....but she will probably like that one and I will get the other one...... Sometime it work like that..I might just tell her to keep them both. |
Can anyone tell me approximately how big the alpha letters are in the Level D set? I just may have to sign up : ) TIA!
Kati |
The letters in Alpha Hip are approximately 1 1/2" tall and 1 1/4" wide ;-) Nice and big.
