Default Storage paper pumpkin stamps

Okay, ladies, I have 10-11 paper pumpkin stamp “collections” from previous releases. I find I am not using them, pretty much because I don’t know how to store/sort them.

Do you guys have any suggestions? Some of the phrases are great, can you put them all together, and how?

I haven’t ordered any paper pumpkin kits, so I can’t speak to that specifically. However, I’ve read thru multiple threads on storing stamps. What I noticed was multiple people saying that they now store their stamps by theme vs keeping sets together. So, they’ll but sentiments in one pack, florals in another, etc. I recently ordered some Stampendous Stuftainers after reading about them on here. I got them cause I’m going to convert some of my wood block stamp sets to cling foam. The Avery Elle Stamp Storage Pockets are also popular though some people make their own version. If you search the forums for “stamp storage” you’ll find quite a bit of info. Good luck figuring out what will work best for you!

Here’s a thread from the Mission: Storage forum that you might find helpful...

In the monthly email Paper Pumpkin sends to subscribers there is a printable stamp case insert.  It fits in the DVD-style stamp cases Stampin' Up! has in their catalog.  That's how I store mine.

Since I have split my sets and store sentiments separately from my images, and my images are almost always stored by theme, not by set, then the PP stamp sets are stored in the same way.

I look for stamps for a particular "theme" to my cards...not for making a
card all with one stamp set.  If I use several sets on one card, that's
just fine with me, and I did not enjoy having to hunt thru multitudes
of sets to find the stamps I wanted.  That is especially true with sentiments.

For example, one of my recent PP stamp sets had a watercolor brushstroke, a stem with leaves, a very small background spot stamp, and several word stamps.  The words were filed with the appropriate words, the watercolor brushstroke with similar stamps, the leaves with the leaves, and the background spots with similar background spots.

Space is a major issue for me as well.  My storage system (by topic, in envelopes) takes up a whole lot less space than what I used to do.

When you split them what do you put them on?  Is the heavy plastic sold somewhere?  I keep my stamps and dies in Avery Elle envelopes like Jennifer McGuire suggests.

I use laminated cardstock panels in my envelopes.  White for most stamp sets, vanilla if they have any matching dies.
