Default question for demos

I sent in my paperwork to be a demo on Thursday. I have heard you guys talk about pre-ordering hostess sets. Will I be able to order hostess sets? How does this work? Thanks!

Default Pre-ordering

No, you won't be able to buy this year's hostess sets, but next year, if they work it the same as this year, you will have the opportunity to buy the level 2 and level 3 sets during a specific time period in late spring. I can't remember if they limited the number or not - I think they did - I didn't do it this year. In past years, they awarded the sets based on sales and recruiting during the spring, and then we got to choose some hostess sets. This was the first year they had us purchase them.

As far as the mini-catalogues go, as a demo, we receive a comp copy of the mini about 6-8 weeks ahead of time, and we have the opportunity to buy up to one of ever set during the month before the mini goes into effect, so we can make samples and plan workshops.

They also release about 5 or 6 new sets from the big catty for demos to purchase about 6 weeks before the new catty releases, but we don't get to see the catty ahead of time.

Hope that helps!

I went a little nuts with my first order and earned a level 3 set myself! I am not advocating (wink, wink) spending that much but maybe you have some friends that want to place some little orders to get you going and you can put it in as a workshop with you as the hostess. Or there is always the Buy/sell/trade forum that is worth a shot. Good luck in your new business.
