Stamping of course! What did you think I was talking about here in the General Discussion Forum for Stamping Topics????
Yesterday I actually made 4 cards...count 'em 4!!!! Now I realize that this is no big deal to those of you who stamp almost every day, but before yesterday I had only made 1 card in the last three weeks!!! YIKES!!! I spent most of the day yesterday working on these 4 cards and it was heaven! I even made myself clean up as I went after each project so I don't have a table full of dirty stamps today. Man - it felt soooo good! No wonder I've been so grumpy lately! I gotta stamp more!
Uploaded to my gallery late last night. Icing on the cake was to wake up this morning to wonderful comments. What a great way to start the day!
So - here's a follow up question...How often do you stamp? Or how many cards do you make a week? By that I mean unique designs. I can make 10 swap cards in the time it takes me to make 2 or 3 unique cards, KWIM?

wow! that fekt GOOD
I don't have sense enough to quit once I get started, so I have to make sure that I have every thing else done first. (yeah right)
My MOM passed away a few years ago, but I still made 26 Mother's Day cards. I took them out to the local nursing home & left them to be passed out to those who will not be fortunate enough to have families visit.
I stamp EVERY day, and make at least one card, but usually two or three. I sell my cards and send them out to friends and family, and donate some, but I still make more than I can use. They are all original, one-of-a-kind designs. There are very few that I hang on to.
I'm one of those who wishes Stampin' Up! allowed sales in fixed locations. I only charge $2.00 each, so I won't to get rich selling cards, I just want to sell them so that I can make more!

The new cards are really gorgeous. Love the paint chip cards but my favorite is the She's New to Me card, it is awesome.
I stamp every day. Lots of times though I throw away what I have done cos I'm not happy with it. So I probably make about 7 or 8 cards a week.
I'm also a really slow worker. I have to do a card from start to finish. I can't seem to make up a load of things and then make them into a card later.
I just picked up a bunch of supplies today so I can get started on some serious stamping. I did make 8 the other day which took about 2 hours from getting out supplies to cleaning up. I'm definitely not a daily stamper - don't have that much time yet (gotta wait until school is out).
If I could stay off here during the kid's naptime I could get a lot done! Noe I catch myself having to make a card as I need it. I really want to get a stockpile going.
Now, I'm gonna go see what you posted.

I so love your IFB card, I printed out that one to case. I went to your gallery and found many more I may have to case. I stamp at least once a week, and you are right to make one card takes as long as making 10, it is the planning and measuring that takes so much time. Once you have that figured out you can whip out a bunch! Thanks for sharing your cards.
I try to get housework done during my 1-yr-old's nap, but alas, I seem to be magnetically attracted to SCS! I too, would get lots more stamping done if I'd stay off the computer! But I need the inspiration, considering I've only been stamping for about 2 months.
I'd say I make about 10 card (fronts) a week, mostly after baby's in bed at night!
I usually only stamp when I have a reason, a swap I wanted to do, a b-day card, a scrapbook I want to do etc It usually ends up being about 2-3 times a week. I've started making some RAKS and I'm taking on the virtual stamp night this weekend, so it's slowly becoming more as I have more time!
I usually stamp as much as I can during my 20 month old's naps and when she's asleep at night! I do light housework when she is awake! I do something stamp related every single day. SCS is a must-visit every day and I either stamp or color in images and things like that each day if possible.

I started a 6 x 6 mini album last night and got 7 pages done! It was so fun! And today in honor of National Scrapbook Day, I went shopping at 2 shops for supplies! It was a lot of fun.
I can totally relate. I have been so buried lately, that I never get to stamp! :(
But, I did get my 2 mother's day cards done, and a few B-day cards. But I never really get to sit and be creative.
I'm with you! I stamped last night too! What a great feeling. I made 7 cards and felt happy when I woke this morning...no comments since I don't know how to upload. I just loved doing it. Mine were similar but not exactly the same. I only seem to stamp once a week if lucky. Too many things to do with the kids/housework/work. Looking forward to summer. Also love my stamp club. It forces me to stamp
I find myself spending more time on SCS instead of stamping bc I have to "clean up" my supplies since I don't have a room.
Happy Mothers Day to everyone! I hope we all get to stamp today!
Thanks for all the nice comments. Sometimes I think I just forget how purely joyous it is to stamp and create! And it makes me less grumpy too!!!
I AGREE!!! As to your question....I sure wish I did more for the simple reason above, how good it makes me feel! I usually stamp 1-2 cards a week, but then have days when I stamp and stamp and stamp and can generate 5-10 cards! All depends on how motivated I get myself! Having a stamp day with friends on Tuesday so I hope to make a bunch!
