Default Gray Copics

I recently purchased the 36 marker set of copics. I hope I don't sound really uninformed but........What are all the gray markers for? I've looked at some tutorials and this issue doesn't seem to be discussed. I really want to get the most out of my copics so any help will be appreciated!

It's mostly for shading and creating shadows. You're suppose to use the ones that match your color tones. So C0 is cool gray and W0 is warm gray. I hope that helps you a little bit.

You might want to check out Marianne's blog. She only started it a couple of days ago and already I've learned a lot I didn't know about copics. She hasn't covered the grays yet but I'm sure she'll get around to it.

I use them for shadowing - outlining around images to make them pop or putting ground shadows under things (usually the level 1 of either C or W), and for a little bit of shading (you can actually use them over/under colors for some darker tones), and also for just coloring things gray. Usually things that would normally be silver like tools, watering cans, tin pails, etc. HTH!
