Question about Crayons for Crayon Resist
I just bought a box of Crayola crayons so I could try the crayon resist technique but I've only seen the white crayon used, is there a use for the other colors? It seems such a waste if you can't use the other colors for anything stamping related. I did go on to the Crayola website and discovered that for $9.99 you can buy a box of 64 crayons and you can select the colors you want. So you could get a whole box of white if you wanted.

You can shave the crayons with the cilor combo you want onto a piece of cardstock (dark shows it more elegantly) - lay a sheet of wax paper over the crayon coated csardstock. Press in a circular motion with a medium warm iron (not a spray steam setting) until melted/ remove wax paper. You can also do to thin fabrics to use on cards as well. I like using the metallic crayolas especially for this.

I thought the same thing, why can't I use the other colors? So I tried green. Low and behold it worked and the green didn't show. Although I would suggest that you try it first to make sure that mine wasn't an accident. ;)

Thanks Julie! Will have to try that!

You can use ALL colors of the crayons. It is one of my favorite techniques!

Once when I used a red crayon, it left pink on my card.
