Pearl Ex Tutorial Poppin Pearls

i wanted to try yesterday night a few cards. so i went to michaels and got the acrylic sealer.

when i came home to start i noticed that beate used the matte version of the sealer and i got the glossy kind.

so i did not start because i wanted to be sure this is going to look nice too.

my question is: can i use the glossy one for a nice effect too or will it take away from the pearl ex?
