Anybody else having trouble getting to heroarts.com? Saw a cute kit for the holidays on Joan B's blog and wanted to go check it out. I keep getting an error.
"Can't establish database connection".
Since this is the only place I am having trouble going on the internet I suspect a site problem. Anyone else?
An hour ago on their Facebook page, they state they are having problems with the website.

It's better than it was about an hour ago. Very Very SLOOOW. Took me about 45 minutes to get my order through. Lydia posted a pic the kit on her blog today. It will be a sellout I'm sure.
And now, after coming back from my day of running errands, playing taxi driver for my son, cooking dinner....now....the site is up but the kit is OUT OF STOCK. *sigh*.
Oh well, I put in my email for the waitlist. Probably better for my budget anyway...
I struggled to get my order through this afternoon but it was well worth the time. Two hours later I had a shipping notice, couldn't believe it. Assume I will have by the end of the week, can't wait.
They hyped the kit launch for several days and made it look irresistible. Not surprised it sold out and crashed the site. It's working again, though.

I ordered on Monday, shipped on Monday and is being delivered today!!! Never had anything I've ordered that quick but not complaining. What I don't understand is this package is coming from CA to OH USPS priority mail....had another stamp order that shipped priority mail on Monday from NY to OH and it won't be here until Friday. Never will figure out the Post Office.
Your guys are killing me!!! I have not stamped in months and months and have been thinking of getting rid of all my stamps. Love the idea of adding inks, dies along with the stamps!! Yikes!!!

I'm glad to hear that you are staying with this hobby! I would be sad if you left it.

I looked at this kit long and hard on the 11th (last day to order). I couldn't find on the Hero Arts blog, store, or on any of the DT blogs any dimensions for the stamps and dies.
In the end, without the critical size info, I decided to stay happy with my Kitchen Sink Stamps multi-step Poinsettia set, even though it doesn't have matching dies.
For their future kits, it would be a great idea to list the sizes of the contents. I also couldn't find names of the 5 inks included. I already have Hero Arts full-size ink pads, so getting the same colors in cubes would have been somewhat useless. If it had been stated that these were new colors, I'd have been much more likely to order, even without knowing the stamp sizes.
