Q's on the shrink plastic's
Can someone please tell me the difference between polyshrink, shrink plastic and the shrinky dink (sp?) Some also told me that the polyshrink was toxic� is that true? And is it easy to use???

A lot of the polyshrink is much the same... Shrinky Dinks is a brand name and polyshrink is the generic name for shrinkable plastics
Shrinky Dinks comes in a variety of types: Frosted: this is the original type that was around back in the dark ages when I was a kid (the 70's) It is a clear plastic that is roughed up on one side... good for colored pencils etc. Ink jet printer: for printing photos etc onto shrinkable plastic Colored: Bright white, black, brown, and almond (must use permanment media - like staz-on when using the colored plastic) Most other shrinkable plastic are like ShrinkyDinks original frosted variety. |
